Jocey Musselman, a sophomore, captures the essence of the year perfectly as she states, “It’s been really fun. I’ve met a lot of new people and made some really great long-lasting friendships.” The welcoming atmosphere this school provides has encouraged students to connect and form bonds that will last well beyond their high school years. Riggs Jatip, junior, also shares his thoughts on the school’s size and the friendships he made, “It’s been awesome! I was so surprised how big the school was and I’ve met lots of great people here that I wouldn’t have known otherwise,” he said. Bailey Martin, another sophomore, highlights the extracurricular activities available as she states, “This year has been a great first year to have in high school. Doing soccer had been really fun and it gave more opportunities to meet new people and have great experiences. This school has had many activities that have been set up so well and planned out. The dances and the plays have been super fun and entertaining to go to and I think this school has done a great job giving people a great first year.” The amazing school culture, with well-organized events, has allowed plenty of students to enjoy themselves and create lasting memories.
Phoebe Warr, a sophomore, explains the positive sentiments of her peers, stating, “My first year at West Field has been super fun. I have made lots of friends and have had super fun new experiences.” Additionally, she praises the teachers. Mostly all of the teachers are super friendly and help me in the classes and overall the first year has been super fun,” she adds. The supportive nature the faculty provides has played a crucial role in the ease of the new year transition, ensuring that the students feel comfortable and encouraged throughout their journey at the new school.
